Hey everyone, it’s Mervin here again from https://mervintimothyreyes.com. 🌅 It’s a brand new day on the farm, and I’m up early, starting my farm life. I woke up at 3:30 a.m. but went back to bed briefly. Today, I’m taking it easy. In this video, I want to talk about those days when everything on the farm feels repetitive, monotonous, and you just don’t want to get out of bed. 🛌
Right now, we’re plowing, and I’m checking through these bushes to see what’s going on. This process will repeat not just once but countless times, and you have to stick to the program. Farming is a huge commitment, and one of the biggest factors influencing your mood at the start of the day is how well-rested you are. 🌾
If you’ve had plenty of rest, even if you wake up feeling unmotivated, the feeling will change once you get into the day. I’m checking the work done by my team and dealing with some issues, like a leaking water system. When you’re well-rested and face challenges, you’ll find that your mood improves and you can tackle the day effectively. 💪
I left home with my worker at 5:00 a.m., but I intentionally went back to bed for a bit after getting up early. I’m also dealing with some olive trees that have yellowing leaves, which means they need special treatment. 🌿
In the morning, I ease into the day by handling small tasks, like overseeing the tractor work and checking for leaks. Spending time in nature activates your brain, leading to better ideas and a clearer mind. 🌳
Farm life involves dealing with problems daily, and a well-rested mind makes it easier to address these issues. This dedication and commitment are key. Farming is demanding, but it’s rewarding. 🌞
Remember, if you don’t love what you’re doing, it’s hard to stay motivated. But when you’re passionate about nature and farming, the work becomes more enjoyable. It’s not about big recognition; it’s about the daily commitment and the sense of accomplishment. 🏆
I’ve been farming full-time for a decade, and it’s all about dedication and passion. Even when motivation is low, discipline will carry you through. The challenges you face build your character and resilience. 🌱
When you’re immersed in nature, like in the mountains or with olive trees, it refines you. It’s not just about the physical work but also about the mental and emotional growth. Even if farming wasn’t your initial dream, you might find fulfillment in it, just like I did. 🌄
