Welcome to this Christian Motivation & Inspiration video. Hi, it’s me , your friend Mervin once again from https://mervintimothyreyes.com, bringing you the mighty infallible eternal words of the living God to help you in your Christian walk .Welcome to this life – changing video that’s sure to uplift and inspire you . Today ,we’ll delve into a topic close to our hearts “The Astonishing Reality: Many Will Hurt You Before They Help You.”
The Bible is filled with wisdom and guidance on the people we should
surround ourselves with . Before we dive deeper into this topic , let me ask you a
vital question : Would God approve of everyone in your circle of influence ? Psalm 1
verse 1paints a clear picture of the kinds of people who should be in our lives . It
says , “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly nor stands
in the path of sinners nor sits in the seat of the scornful .”
There’s profound wisdom in this single verse . It shows us that our
blessings come from being diligent about who we walk with , which path we
stand on , and where we sit . So, I urge you to reflect on the people around you and
ask yourself these questions : Who am I walking with ? Which path am I standing
on ? And where am I sitting ?
It’s crucial to be watchful of ungodly influences in our lives . These are
people who are morally wrong , actively bad , wicked , or unjust . While we should
show love to unbelievers , the Bible makes it clear that we should not walk under
their counsel or guidance . First Corinthians 15:33 warns us, “Do not be deceived :
‘Bad company corrupts good morals.”
Our character and faith are precious , and we must guard and nurture
them . The people we associate with can have a significant impact on us. Some
exhibit toxic traits , while others display Godly character and bear the fruits of the
Spirit . We must be prayerful and discerning , carefully choosing those who are
closest to us.
Remember the story of Judas , one of Jesus ‘ disciples . He seemed
trustworthy , even part of Jesus ‘ inner circle , but he betrayed Him in the end . In our
lives , we may encounter people we trust deeply , only to find out later that they
have ill intentions . But we must learn to respond with grace , just as Jesus forgave
those who hurt Him .
When we face betrayal or hurt from others , we can follow Jesus ‘ example
of forgiveness . He taught us to love our enemies , to turn the other cheek , and to
pray for those who persecute us. It’s not an easy path , but it’s a path that leads to
freedom from bitterness and resentment .
Additionally , we should pray for discernment and wisdom when choosing
our relationships . Not everyone we encounter is meant to be a close companion .
The devil may use some people to discourage , derail , or destroy us. Being
discerning about our friendships can protect us from such harm .
As we navigate through life , we may encounter our own version of Judas
– someone we trust deeply but ultimately disappoints us. In those moments , we
must remember to forgive , give grace , and move forward . It’s not a matter of if,
but when this may happen , so we must stay prepared and quick to forgive .
The key is to surround ourselves with wise and Godly individuals who will
uplift , encourage , and support us. Together , we can grow in faith , love , and
holiness , fulfilling the purpose that God has for each of our lives .
Let’s be intentional about the people we allow into our lives . Seek
friendships that align with your faith and values . Embrace Godly influences and
stay connected with those who will lead you closer to Christ .
Remember , God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path . As
we walk this journey , let us be prayerful , discerning , and full of grace . And in doing
so, we will find ourselves walking in alignment with God’s perfect will for our lives .
