The Drip And Flow Effect In discipleship

## 💧🔥 **The Drip And Flow Effect In Discipleship | Teaching According To Spiritual Readiness**

**Hello once again, It’s Mervin from ([https://mervintimothyreyes.com](https://mervintimothyreyes.com)) with another powerful and truth-filled vlog.** 🎬📖🔥

In today’s teaching, we dive into a sobering yet crucial principle in discipleship: **The Drip and Flow Effect.** God never pours out beyond what a vessel is ready to hold—and neither should we.

As mentors, pastors, or teachers of the Word, we must discern **how much spiritual knowledge to impart** based on a student’s **commitment, zeal, obedience, and personal walk with Christ.**

Just as Jesus spoke in parables to conceal deeper truths from the proud, **too much teaching given to an unprepared heart can lead to pride, deception, and spiritual ruin.**

### ⚖️ The Principle of Measured Impartation

✅ Teach in proportion to the student’s spiritual maturity
✅ Withhold deep truths until there’s fruit in obedience
✅ Avoid feeding pride through unchecked information
✅ Prioritize discipleship over data
✅ Impart heart, not just head knowledge

### 📖 Biblical Foundation

📖 “A form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.” — 2 Timothy 3:5
📖 “Do not cast your pearls before swine…” — Matthew 7:6
📖 “To whom much is given, much is required.” — Luke 12:48
📖 “Jesus…did not entrust Himself to them, for He knew all men.” — John 2:24

### ✝️ The Goal of Discipleship

✔️ To form Christ within the believer (Galatians 4:19)
✔️ To see lives transformed by truth, not puffed up by knowledge
✔️ To raise up spiritually disciplined, Spirit-led world changers
✔️ To model Jesus’ method: drip before flow

—

**Remember:** Teaching is sacred. Don’t teach to impress—teach to transform.
**Information without transformation is dangerous.** The goal is not just to know God’s Word, but to become living epistles.
